I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Bangor Football Club on their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024/25 Playr-Fit Championship and securing promotion to the NIFL Premiership.
This remarkable success is a proud moment for the city of Bangor and a testament to the hard work, passion, and determination shown by the players, management, coaching staff, and all those behind the scenes at the club. It also reflects the incredible support from fans who have stood by the team through thick and thin.
Bangor FC’s return to the top tier of Northern Irish football is not just a sporting victory—it’s a boost for the entire community, inspiring pride and unity across North Down. I have no doubt the club will rise to the challenge and continue to make us proud in the NIFL Premiership.
