ALEX EASTON MP WELCOMES POSITIVE CHANGES AT SILVERBIRCH MEDICAL PRACTICE
North Down MP Alex Easton has welcomed the positive changes taking place at Silverbirch Medical Practice following a recent visit to the surgery.
During his visit, Mr Easton met with the Doctor and Practice Manager, both of whom he found to be extremely welcoming and passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services to local patients.
Alex Easton MP said:
“I was delighted to visit Silverbirch Medical Practice and to meet with the Doctor and Practice Manager. They were both very welcoming and took the time to explain the new approach being taken at the practice.
“One of the most encouraging things I learned was the strong emphasis being placed on face-to-face appointments. This is something many constituents have raised with me over recent years, as people want the opportunity to sit down with a healthcare professional and discuss their concerns in person.
“It was very positive to hear that the practice is providing a significant number of face-to-face appointments each day and that patients can access appointments with both GPs and Nurse Practitioners. The practice is also accepting new patients, which is welcome news for local residents.
“The feedback I have received from patients has been extremely positive. Many have told me they have found it much easier to get an appointment and have appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the new team.
“I came away from my visit very impressed. It is clear that the Doctor, Practice Manager and all the staff are committed to putting patients first and ensuring local people can access the healthcare services they need.
“I would like to thank everyone at Silverbirch Medical Practice for the warm welcome they gave me and for their dedication to serving the community.”
Mr Easton said he looks forward to working constructively with the practice in the future and wishes the team every success as they continue to provide healthcare services to the people of Bangor and the wider North Down area.
