Alex Easton MP for North Down visited St. Columbanus’ College this week to help mark the College’s 65th anniversary. During his visit, he met with the Principal and the Chair of the Board of Governors and presented a copy of an Early Day Motion he submitted to Parliament to officially recognise the milestone.

Speaking after the visit, Alex Easton MP said:

“It was a pleasure to visit St. Columbanus’ College and take part in the celebrations. The College has been a valued part of the Bangor community for 65 years and has shaped the education and lives of many young people. I want to thank the staff, both past and present, for everything they have done for pupils over many decades.”

He added:

“The Early Day Motion ensures that this anniversary is formally recognised in Parliament. I hope many current and former pupils, families, staff, and friends of the school will join the celebrations and mark this important occasion together.”
